Brookwood Worship Leader Round Tables: Jerry Sidell’s Participation Alongside Students

Brookwood Worship Leader Round Tables

Brookwood Church has repeatedly described Jerry Sidell’s service in ways that emphasize adults.

At the September 10 meeting, Bryan Jones described Jerry as serving “in an adult band, and an adult group.”

But the photographs attached to this post show another part of the story.

They span 2024 and 2025 and show Jerry participating in multiple Brookwood Worship Leader Round Tables.

In May 2025, one of those gatherings was described this way:

“These students & adults are hungry to serve & to grow as Worship Leaders!”

Jerry Sidell is in that photograph, standing directly beside multiple students.

Another post specifically describes the people pictured as “the worship leaders of Brookwood Church.”

Brookwood has also said this policy had been in place “for years”:

“…they would have to inform the ministry leader about their background and their story.”

Today, I was told that Brookwood Church’s longtime Music Director was never informed about Jerry’s history.

So who actually knew Jerry’s story?

Describing Jerry’s worship involvement simply as an “adult band” leaves out his documented participation in Brookwood worship-leadership gatherings that included students.
